It is our favorite restaurant on site. It is simple and cozy. Eating is always delicious and the dining card changes seasonally so it never becomes boring.

I have been visiting Il Faro since 1990 before they moved locations. Back then, I had lunch about once per week, and I remember always getting Pizza Romana (Beef plus Garlic). Now after many years absence from Switzerland, I visited on a business trip due to those memories. While the ambience is not as nice in the new location across the Train Station as it was in the older restaurant years ago, they still had the same Pizza menu. So I ordered a Nusslisalat (always have to get this in Switzerland), and a PIzza Romana. It was great. The beef was not as good as I remembered it though ... but still the memories came back. I can always recommend Il Faro ... but be careful, Swiss prices!
